James Luis Boyette
James began working in film production over 15 years ago as an actor and extra in several made-for-TV movies and series, such as Young Indiana Jones and Matlock. Having become fascinated with the process of storytelling, James turned to studying script writing and film production. During the past 10 years, he has honed his skills through writing, producing and directing multiple projects, including national spot commercials, corporate videos, a made-for-Internet pilot series and the Dear Zoël promo.
James’ business background complements his production experience, affording him the rare opportunity to successfully place his creative endeavors into the marketplace. After graduating from Samford University in 1996 with a degree in international relations, James began his business career in Costa Rica, working with a world-class resort development. He was later recruited to work with Crimson Media Group, an Internet entertainment start-up firm based in Miami.
In 2002, James joined Integrated Medical Systems, the largest privately held surgical device service company in the United States. He resigned as the Executive Vice President for the IMS Consulting Management Division in late 2008 to start Pura Vida Entertainment. James is an entrepreneur and his expertise includes business development, sales, marketing, and project management.
